Zoom Unit: Children and Young People with Disability and Neurodivergence

Join Dr Louise Gosbell for a unit on how to engage the hearts of "Children’s and Young People with Disability and Neurodivergence” (Unit DE053). This online unit is being offered as a series of regular zoom sessions over 13 weeks in semester 2, beginning on Tuesday July 29, 2025, from 4:00-5:30pm (AEST) with breaks coordinated for NSW school holidays.

This unit will include a range of special guests with disability and neurodivergence, and provide the opportunity to hear the voices of people living with disability and neurodivergence, and face-to-face discussion with peers, guests, and Louise.

The unit DE053 is fully accredited by the Australian University of Theology and is offered at both undergraduate (AQF6&7) and postgraduate (AQF8) level.

The class size is limited to 20 students on a “first come, first served” basis, and preference will given to those enrolling for accredited study.

Students can participate in the unit in 2 ways:

  1. Accredited Study:

    • AQF level 6 or 7 (Diploma, Adv. Diploma, Associate Degree, or Bachelors Degree) = AUD$2600

    • AQF level 8 (Masters, Graduate Certificate, Graduate Diploma) = AUD$2800

  2. Audit & assessment student:
